No lugging with your ski gear and hire a heated ski locker at the ski lift. If you want to start skiing directly in Serfaus the ski-bus stop is at 200 metres from the front door. All six bedrooms are in the traditional Austrian style, most of which have its own full en-suite bathroom with shower, WC, basin and hair dryer. Except for one room all with balcony. The Alpensonne is a comfortable and cosy chalet, decorated in a traditional Tyrolean style with a warmth of character. The combined living and dining room with balcony has great views over the surrounding mountains and the village. An exception to all our other chalets is that we have choosen for this chalet that dinner is not inclusive and that your are completely free and flexible how and where you want to have dinner. If you have booked the whole chalet and you are with a minimum of 10 persons you can choose to let a professional Austrian catering company organize a three course dinner in your chalet. They take care for a freshly prepared and delicious dinner. Also they arrange the cutlery, dishes, clean up and take the dirty dishes. Nice and easy and with the full support and help of your chalet staff if you wish. So they can set and clear the table. All essential elements of our regular service will still be available to maintain that totally taken care of feel. We have been working with this catering company for years and we would like to introduce them to you. On request we send you information about the prices, the days they cater, time frames, suggestions for starter, main and dessert, dietary, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, gluten-free, food allergy or intolerence requirements etc. But you can also choose to eat out. We have a very good co-operation with the excellent and beautifull decorated restaurant Marent Alm. Families with children are also very welcome here, because for children here is on two floors a separate kids play area which is soundproof, so without noise nuisance. With pleasure we can help you to make a reservation. Your chalet staff live out, so your privacy is completely guaranteed.

Fiss
Fiss is a chocolate box traditional Tirolean village in the west of Tyrol. Snow lies thick on slate roofs and curls of smoke rise from chimneys. A string of hamlets wind their way up the hill and everything is pristine. Fiss is one of Austria’s most famous and most sought-after ski resorts, and deservedly so especially for families. The attractive Tyrolean village centre retains its traditional relaxed charm and a cosy, intimate feel, yet is big enough to offer an ample range of facilities, and a friendly après-ski atmosphere. It is an one of the oldest Tyrolean resorts and is very Austrian and it boasts a uniform Alpine feel and the people, bars and restaurants make it a favorite with the Europeans. The village of Fiss is part of the Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis ski area and sits high in the Tirolean mountains overlooking the Oberinn Valley and the Kaunertaler glacier. It’s easy to see why Fiss remains one of the best loved Austrian skiing destinations. It’s kept the charm and the feel of its rural village roots while growing into a modern resort with a lively atmosphere. The village centre is as eye-catching as the skiing. A wonderful mix of old and new architecture and remains largely unspoilt with a charming ambience and a selection of traditional après-ski bars and beer kellers. In the neigbouring village of Serfaus you’ll find a charming village, largely traffic-free and a highlight is the weekly adventure night, an impressive display with laers, snowcat, fireworks and a ski school demonstration.
