Chalet Sabot de Venus is in an absolute excellent location with skiing virtually to and from the doorstep. Just off the high street but directly located in the centre of Les Deux Alpes, in the charming old part of Place de Venosc. Perfectly placed for the bars, shops and amenities of the resort centre in the Venosc end of town. If you love the après ski a stop at the Pano Bar at 2600 metres we can recommend you. Every afternoon between 3 and 5 pm a DJ turns great music. Chalet Sabot de Venus is a modern freestanding chalet offering comforts and facilities you need to have a great holiday. The chalet is modern, light and spacious. All seven bedrooms have their own private ensuite shower or bath with wc. The chalet has an open-plan living and dining area with also pine walls giving it a warm and cosy ambience. The lounge/dining room leads out on to a sunny terrace with a garden where skiers will delight in the chalet's own brand-new hot-tub, where tired muscles can be gently eased to complete the après-ski relaxation regime. Set high up in the picturesque Dauphine region of the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and the whole resort lies alongside the main slopes on both sides so you are never far from a lift. This one of Europe's highest ski resort with a buzzing cosmopoliton atmosphere is lively, colourful, and a great place to get hooked on skiing or snowboarding. Les Deux Alpes is one of the oldest French ski resorts and one of the most affordable, both for skiing and offers an abundance of après-ski life in its bustling and lively town centre. The impressive selection of bars, restaurants and shops is also spread over the mile long narrow stretch. L'Opéra nightclub, The Secret for live music and games, Smokey Joe's for a lively atmosphere or Smithy's with Dj's for dancing. In addition to a heated outdoor swimming pool, outdoor ice rink and sports centre, the resort offers a tanking centre with flotarium, sauna and Turkish baths to help relax any aching limbs at the end of a hard day's activity, what else could possibly make ski holidays in Les Deux Alpes better.

The ski area Les Deux Alpes

Heading down the last run of the day into a bustling resort, humming from excitement of another crisp sunny day over. Located in the Southern Alps, Les Deux Alpes is renowned for an excellent snow record, high altitude pistes and long hours of sunshine. Geared towards all standards of skier, it provides everything from nursery slopes for first timers to tricky black descents for pros. Ski holidays in Les Deux Alpes are great for skiers and boarders alike, with extensive ski terrain, efficient lift system and lots of sun on south-facing slopes. There are excellent beginner slopes near the resort and on the glacier - a great place to learn and enjoy the superb mountain views. Intermediates have variety while experts should test their ability on the off piste runs of legendary 'La Grave' when the conditions are right. For snowboarders, in addition to wide-open spaces, there is a challenging boarder cross, fun park and half pipe, and for stout-hearted skiers, a mile-long couloir to jump into. Les Deux Aples is now linked with La Grave on the same lift pass, which opens up a huge area of Off Piste skiing. A 6 day pass also covers a days skiing in Serre Chevalier or Alpe d'Huez.
